A typical WingTip team would consist of 3-5 members dove-tailing with a similar number of client resources. The WingTip resources bring knowledge of advanced technology and methodology. The client team brings a detailed understanding of the business requirements.

Joint ownership of the project is recommended to insure that both parties live up to commitments identified early in the project life-cycle.

A stated goal of most projects is knowledge transfer. A project is not successful until the system is delivered and the client has a complete understanding of how to maintain and extend it's capabilities. This goal helps our clients manage the long-term production aspects of their systems using internal resources.

WingTip Design Group's typical projects are delivered in 3-6 month cycles. We do not typically bid on projects larger than six months in duration. We have found that the variables inherent in these projects cause one of two things to occur. Either the project runs out of scope and over budget or the management layer required to keep the project on-track becomes cost-prohibitive. We have however, been very successful in breaking-down larger efforts into more manageable phases for delivery.

The small team size, well-defined scope, and technology focus keep our project teams on a very tight delivery cycle. It is not unusual for our projects to deliver significant functionality every 2-3 months.
